Packaging Our woven fabrics are used in applications requiring flexible but tough and abrasion-resistant packages. These woven textiles are used in cotton and synthetic textile bale covers, retail packaging and flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCs).  Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers – These large, woven 1-2 ton bulk bags are used for transportation of granular or powdered materials. Food and pharmaceutical companies use Propex FIBCs to transport product, and Propex anti-microbial bulk bags are currently in development to help prevent contamination of items during transport. Bale Wraps –Propex packaging applications include synthetic bale covers for acrylic, nylon, polyester and polypropylene and cotton bale covers.
